History of popular Sindhi Song "Ho Jamalo"

History of popular Sindhi Song "Ho Jamalo"
A railway bridge over Indus river at Sukkur was built.
It was so long that motormen were afraid to cross the train over it.
Government made an announcement asking if anyone could do it.
A prisoner in jail named Jamal who was sentenced to death punishment agreed on condition that if he succeeded he should be released, to which the Govt agreed.
Jamal managed to cross the train over the bridge successfully.
Thus his wife sang this song....
" O Munhinjo khatti ayo khair saan, HO Jamal HO
Jeko Sukkur waaro pul taan, HO Jamal HO."
