Ek puraani ghazal se kuchh ashaar

 
سزا دھوکہ، صِلہ دھوکا، یہاں ہر انتہا دھوکہ
ہے کوشش تیری جِس خاطر، وہ سب ہے دنیا کا دھوکہ
Saza dhoka sila dhoka, yahaan har inteha dhoka
Hai koshish teri jiss khaatir, Wo sab hai dunya ka dhoka

 
ابھی سے ڈر گئے تم تو حوادث دیکھے ہی کیا ہیں
گماں ہو گا حقیقت کا ملے گا جا بجا دھوکہ
Abhi se darr gaye tum to hawadis dekhe hi kya hain
Gumaa’n ho ga haqeeqat ka mile ga ja-ba-ja dhoka

 
کہے دنیا وہی حق ہے نظر کے سامنے ہے جو
مجھے ایسی حقیقت سے یقیناً ہے بھلا دھوکہ
Kahe dunya wahi haqq hai nazar ke saamne hai jo
Mujhe aisi haqeeqat se yaqeenan hai bhala dhoka

 
 بقا کا راستہ واحد بچا ہے انحرافَ حق ؟
سبھی حق کے علمداروں کو یہ کیسا ہوا دھوکہ!
Baqa ka raasta vaahid bacha hai inhiraaf-E-haq
Sabhi haq ke alam-daaron ko ye kaisa hua dhoka

 
یہ کیسا دور ہے یارب سبھی کچھ انتہا پر ہے
شرافت بے بہا ہے یا یہاں ہے بے بہا دھوکہ
Ye kaisa daur hai yaa Rabb sabhi kuchh inteha par hai
Sharaafat be-baha hai ya yaha’n hai be-baha dhoka

It’s a time of increasing confusion and deception. Whilst it’s been made extremely challenging to know the complete truth behind the events unfolding in the world , one thing is clear from the history, that whoever stands for the truth has been prosecuted repeatedly. So cry not for the ones that may appear to the eye as the ones ‘losing’ cry at your own silence, cry for the eternal loss of the oppressor as the ones who endured the oppression will be well-compensated by their Lord the Almighty and rejoice forever in sha Allah
